Provide a Safehouse

Help American families.

And get paid monthly to stay ready.

Turn your unused space, room, or cabin into a lifeline.

Becoming a PSN Host isn’t just generous — it’s heroic. In times of crisis, as a Host you provide more than shelter; you offer safety, comfort, and a lifeline.

PSN has two types of Hosts: RESERVED and FLEX.

Details:

RESERVED Hosts

As an RESERVED Safehouse Host, you are paid a monthly Reservation Fee - usually $75-$500/month just to stay ready and keep your unit reserved for PSN Guests. The amount of your Reservation Fee depends on the quality and popularity of the space the you offer. You get paid monthly, even if PSN is never activated or the space is never used by PSN. You pre-select and know the family you wish to host ahead of time. PSN matches you with multiple potential families interested in your Safehouse, and you choose the one you wish to commit to host in an emergency. If an emergency activates the Safehouse network and Guests arrive at your property, then you also receive your pre-set nightly rate. Your space must be PSN Certified as having basic survival supplies (water, flashlights, etc.) which is done through an online questionnaire and PSN confirmation. PSN handles Guest screening, background checks, payments, and logistics. RESERVED Hosts must always ensure the property is ready when needed. RESERVED Hosts typically do not offer the same space on Short-Term Rental platform (VRBO, AirBnB, etc.) to ensure the space is available if a PSN Guest needs it. But exceptions can be made if a Host agrees to prioritize the PSN Guest.

FLEX Hosts

As a FLEX Hosts, your property is not reserved for PSN guests exclusively and so you are not paid Reservation Fees. Instead, your property is part of a pool of potentially available units that constitute the PSN FLEX Network. As a FLEX Host, you have no obligation to host and no pre-existing Guest selection. In the event of an emergency Safehouse activation, PSN will direct our Guest members only to those units within the network with current availability. Your space must be PSN Certified as having basic survival supplies (water, flashlights, etc.) which is done through an online questionnaire and PSN confirmation. PSN handles Guest screening, background checks, payments, and logistics. Many FLEX hosts offer the same space on Short-term Rental platforms (VRBO, AirBnB, etc.). If you are a current short-term rental host, PSN is a popular no-commission referral network that may help fill your unused nights.
